Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

In the month of March we will begin our Annie Armstrong Easter Offering emphasis. The goal this year has been set at $2,000.00. Your generous gift helps support thousands of missionaries across North America as they plant churches, share the gospel, and meet the needs of people in diverse communities. Every dollar given goes directly to missions, making a lasting impact on the lives of individuals and families. Pray about how God would lead you to give this Easter season.

Law Enforcement & First Responders Sunday

Join us for a special Law Enforcement Sunday next week, February 9th, as we honor and pray for the brave men and women who serve and protect our community.Glorybound will be singing for us during the worship service.Following the service, we will enjoy a covered dish lunch in the fellowship hall. Bring your favorite dish to share and enjoy a time of fellowship with our church family and honored guests.

Fellowship Supper

The time has finally arrived! Wednesday night is our eatin’ meetin’. Time to fill those Baptist casserole dishes and enjoy time around the table with our church family. Supper will begin at 6:00.

Law Enforcement Service

Next Sunday, January 12th, we will be recognizing our area’s first responders. Special music will be provided by Glorybound Quartet, a gospel/devotional/spiritual group from Canton GA. There will be a covered dish lunch following the morning worship service.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

Thank you church for graciously giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. The offering total for this year was $2055.00. That means that we exceeded our goal that was set at $2000.00.

Today is the last Sunday that you can give to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Please help support our international missionaries around the world.

Lottie Moon Offering and Post Office.

The Christmas Card Post Office is officially open! The cost to “mail” your in-house cards will be $0.50 for each card. All money collected from the post office will go towards this year’s goal of $2,000.00.

DeAnne has composed a Christmas card list for you to pick up. It is on the table in front of the mailbox.

Church Decorating

Saturday, November 30th, come help decorate the church for Christmas. Many “hands” will make the task go quicker! Breakfast will be provided with work beginning at 9:00. 

Shoebox Dedication Service

This Sunday, November 17, 2024 we will dedicate our 144 Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. Our prayer is that these will bless those children receiving them.

Shoeboxes

After 2 generous donations, the shipping of our shoeboxes has been covered. We should NEVER underestimate the goodness of our Lord and Savior. Next Sunday, November 17th, we will dedicate our shoeboxes that will be traveling around the world to children who otherwise would not have Christmas gifts. They will also have the gospel shared with them in their own language. Ain’t God Good?

Operation Christmas Child

HOORAY!!! We have ALL our 144 shoeboxes packed. Thank you church for all you have done for this ministry. The next hurdle is the $10.00 donation. This donation helps cover the cost of collecting shoeboxes, processing, and shipping. Our $10.00 donation per box will help provide The Greatest Gift Gospel Booklets that are written in the children’s language, as well as opportunities to train and equip local churches to use the Samaritan’s Purse Ministry Partner Guide. Let's Eat

The Wanderer's are going to O'Charley's in Fort Oglethorpe on Tuesday, October 15th. It will be a great time of fellowship. 

Food Pantry

Don’t forget to bring your nonperishable food items for the NWGA Baptist Association food pantry. The food items are given out on Wednesdays at Second Baptist Church in LaFayette. There is a box in the nursery for collecting food items. You may also make a monetary donation.

Out to Eat

We will be taking the church van to the Cracker Barrel in Ringgold on Tuesday, August 20th. The van will leave the church at 5:00. This is always a great time of food and fellowship.
