Dear Friends,

Bethel Baptist Church is currently without a pastor. While this is a season of transition for our church family, we are trusting in the Lord and seeking His guidance for the future of our church.

We believe that God has a plan and purpose for Bethel Baptist Church, and we are committed to seeking His will above our own. Our church family is prayerfully asking the Lord to lead us to the man He has chosen to serve as our next pastor—one who loves the Lord, faithfully preaches and teaches the Word of God, has a heart for people, and desires to serve Christ and His church.

During this time of transition, we ask our church family and friends to join us in prayer. Please pray for wisdom and discernment for our pastor search committee, for God’s direction in every step of the process, and for the man and his family whom God may be preparing to come and serve with us.

We are reminded of the words of Proverbs 3:5–6:

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

We do not know exactly what the days ahead will bring, but we know the One who holds those days. We are confident that God is faithful, and we will continue to trust Him, pray faithfully, and wait upon His timing.
