Corporate prayer is one of the most powerful yet often underestimated spiritual practices in the Christian faith. When believers come together in unity to pray with one voice, something extra extraordinary happens as heaven responds. Cooperative prayer has been the catalyst for breakthroughs, healing, direction, and most of all, divine intervention. Let us pray together for our new pastor, committee, and Bethel Baptist Church in one accord to bring honor, glory, and praise to our Father.

In every generation, God has moved powerfully when His people come together in prayer. While personal prayer is essential, corporate prayer believers praying together in unity holds a unique, spiritual authority and impact. Corporate prayer is the heartbeat of divine unity, healing, guidance, and revival to our church. Let us pray together on Tuesdays for God’s will concerning our new pastor.

The Wanderer’s are heading out for another good meal, good fellowship, and—if we’re honest—probably a little too much food! Come join us for some laughs, fun, and fellowship around the table. We are heading to Choo Choo BBQ in Chickamauga Thursday night, August 20th. The church van will leave at 5:00. Be sure to sign up in the vestibule so we have an idea how many are going. Come hungry, bring a friend, and let’s go eat !

A Prayer Team is forming, and we'd love you to be a part of it. If you have a burden on your heart to pray for our church, our community, our pastor search committee, and the needs of others, this is a wonderful opportunity to serve. Rather than meeting at the church, each Prayer Warrior will pray from home at an appointed time, joining together in spirit as one church family lifting our requests before the Lord. If you're interested in joining the Prayer Team, please sign up in the vestibule.

“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6

Please note that Sunday School has been suspended until further notice. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We look forward to the day we can gather again for this important time of Bible study under the leadership of David Berryhill.

A total of $500.00 was given. Thank you church for your generosity.
