White as Snow
It was the first snowfall of the season. As Sarah stepped outside, she was greeted by a blanket of pure white snow covering every surface. The world seemed transformed—silent, peaceful, and clean. The gray, muddy ground that had been there just the day before was now hidden beneath the snow’s flawless beauty.
Her breath caught as she whispered, “It’s so perfect.”
Sarah couldn’t help but think about the Bible verse she had learned as a child: “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18). She hadn’t thought about those words in years, but now they came rushing back.
She gazed at the snow, realizing its purity was more than just beauty—it was a reminder. Just like the snow covered the earth’s imperfections, God’s forgiveness covered her sins.
But it wasn’t just about covering them. Snow could melt away, revealing the dirt beneath. God’s forgiveness, Sarah knew, was deeper than that. When He washed away her sins, He didn’t just hide them—He erased them entirely. They were gone, leaving her heart as pure as the snow she stood on.
As she knelt in the snow, Sarah closed her eyes and prayed. “Thank You, Lord, for making me new. Thank You for washing me clean.”
When she rose, a sense of peace filled her heart. The snow had reminded her of something she had forgotten: God’s love was big enough to cover any stain, and His forgiveness was perfect enough to make her whole again.
That day, Sarah saw the snow not just as a part of nature, but as a message from God—a promise of redemption, purity, and grace.
